Ultimate Hoover Dam to Emerald Cave Kayak Expedition: A Thrilling Black Canyon Adventure

Enjoy an adventure on the moving flat waters of the Colorado river as you travel through Black Canyon. Our tours offer a guide by U.S. National Kayak Champions as you join in on one of the most ‘must do’ experiences of your lifetime. This tour accommodates all skill levels supplied with top quality stable kayaks with rudders for easy steering.

As you launch from the historic Hoover Dam you will be guided through Hot Springs, landmarks and surrounding breathtaking canyon walls topping at 900 feet at Emerald Cave, including a complimentary lunch break on a beautiful sandy beach.

Meeting time (pick up) is 6:30 am at Mandalay Bay in the Shuttle & Tour Pick-up area and you’re returning at 4:00 pm. (White Ford transit & Kayak trailer)

Availability is limited by the National Park Services. Reservation is a MUST in advance.

NOTE: Please consider this, the Hoover Dam adventure is recommended only for physically fit people. We do not recommend this activity to anyone with a heart condition, back problems, shoulder problems or any medical or physical limitation. This tour is pretty physical and requires stamina. This tour is a total of 12 miles of kayaking and 2 miles hiking. (It’s NOT a leisure FLOAT)
